Our Mission is to Create a Culture of Care.

Our Story

begins in March of 2020. Just as schools were closing and shifting virtually, we launched our first initiative, Connected Cultures, a workplace mental health training for educators.

We trained 250 educators across Baltimore City Public Schools, and educators shared our community-building skills with over 5,000 students. Our training demonstrated a 30% reduction in symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress in our educator graduates.

As we supported educators, Anthony, our Executive Director and Founder, worked part-time in a grocery store. With MOM’s Organic Market, we piloted and designed a mental health training for retail workers, a first of its kind.

We trained over 20 managers to share our work culture skills with hundreds of store employees on a weekly basis over a year-long pilot. The training showed an over 50% reduction in employee calls-outs within the first two months.

Then, we expanded our focus to include nonprofits, philanthropy, government and universities, graduating over 1,500+ people across our programs.
